The
vom
Drakkenfels "B" Litter finally arrives!
Bora went this morning to have a C-Section done and is now nursing and
licking the skin off of three little pups (two males (Beowulf and Bronx) and one
female (Bali)). These little ones are from frozen semen from WS'90, ES'90,
BJS'87, OS'89, Am, Int. Ch.
Benno von der Schwarzen Heide, Sch III, IPO III, FH, AD, ZTP.
Beowulf is the hardiest and took up a whole horn all by himself. The other two
are nursing well and seem to be thriving. |

MARK (Mid Atlantic Rottweiler
Klub), Charlotte NC: The MARK hosted the
2004 MARK Sieger Show, ZTP &
Korung in Mt Ulla, NC. We were all pleased and
honored to have Xavier Meixner, owner of
vom
Schwaiger Rathaus Rottweiler Kennel, and founder of the renowned
vom Schwaiger Wappen Kennel, in
attendance. I had not shown under Judge Gerard O'Shea (FCI/Sweden) and was quite
pleasantly surprised with his attention to detail, efficiency and willingness to
work with the attendees. Congratulations to all the winners, including: |
|

2004 MARK Seiger,
Jockey vom Blackriesen, owned by Eve and Manson Johnson of Von Evman Rottweilers,
w/ Handler Skip Bittner and Judge O'Shea.

Bluegrass Working Rottweiler Club, Franklin Kentucky:
The Vom Drakkenfels "A" Litter had it's first
Family Reunion at the BWRC/USRC Show in
Franklin, Kentucky. Everyone was there for this first get together.

Pictured from left to right are
Mike Kimball w/Akino. Donna Chalmers w/Akira,
Quinn Webb w/A'Damien and Kim
w/Arushka.

"A" Litter learning to say
"CHEESE". And failing....
The Show was interesting with a
combination of tough love judging and learning experience for those new to the
Show Ring, and even I, with 15 years of Show Ring experience, learned some "new
faults". We all have to remember that a Judges opinion is just that, an opinion.
It was good to see old friends and new faces at ring side. It was good to see
Brad there with "Dutch" Friendly Dutch Ijsven, the first "Tailed" Rottweiler to
receive points in the AKC. Brad gave us an update on Carol Laskey's condition
after her knee surgery, we hope everything is well and hope to see her in the
Ring soon. Congratulations to A'Damien vom Drakkenfels and his owner Quinn Webb
for his 4th place and Redwood Krest's Indio on his 4th Place win.
